Rain coming to L.A.: Rent a car

This evening, in anticipation of a major rainstorm coming down from Canada and having STILL not resolved the issues with the left-hand side window on my Corvette not raising fully, the wife and I drove over to Enterprise Rent-A-Car by LAX and rented a black 2007 Dodge Nitro SUV for like $65.00 a day.

Renting the car was painless and we were admonished to bring it back full, because Enterprise charges freakin $4.75/Gallon for gas.

The rain didn't actually start until later in the evening when I was already in Palos Verdes.  While playing Scrabble for the evening, we were treated to a nice lightning and thunder storm for about half an hour or so.

NOTE:  I stopped by the Coffee Bean and bought 4 coffees for Bert, Patty, Celina and myself.
