Tying up some loose strings
Productive Sunday.
Yayabo taken care of
I Finally delivered Yayabo's old PC and his music and photos backups to him after having his PC sitting in my garage for almost two months. The trip to deliver the PC to him and then copy his music and photos backup from my external hard drive to his NEW PC took less than 30 minutes.
He paid me well for the work that I did and I am really glad I have gotten this lingering issue out of the way.
Breakfast with A.J. and some new computer speakers
After the trip to Yayabo's house, I picked up my son and we had breakfast at Spire's restaurant at the corner of Hawthorne and Manhattan Beach Boulevards in Lawndale. Breakfast was good and after that we drove over to Comp-USA where I bought a new Logitech Z-4i Speaker system for my PC
Office Clean-up
In the afternoon, I did something that I had been meaning to do for quite a while and took apart my PC to clean the desk and the area behind it. While doing that, I took the time to do a little re-arranging and oved my PC from the floor up on to the desk itself.
The proceeded well and the Speaker install also proceeded without issue.
More to follow as I rebuild this PC software-wise in an attempt to dual-boot it with Ubuntu Linux.
